Cultural Integration at the University of Namur
Located in the capital of Wallonia (the French speaking region in Belgium), the University of Namur (UNamur) is known for its high caliber of teaching and innovative research.
With a sports hall, radio station, choir, and community housing, the campus has much to offer an international student. The university participates in the social and economic development of the city and region, enabling students to find practical experience through internships. International students at Namur are welcomed and integrated into the community. Students are given the option to live with families for a full immersion into Belgian culture and the French language.
With over 6,000 students, studying in six different faculties, UNamur students have numerous options to receive a top-notch education. The university’s reputation is based on the quality of its education, the availability of its professors, and resources to ensure success for students. Students have access to various study techniques, small group work, on-line course materials, and personalized assessments.
UNamur already has a strong partnership with the University of São Paulo and continues to welcome Science without Borders students from Brazil. The university seeks additional partnerships with Brazilian institutions and is visiting the country for the third time later this year. University of Namur invites Brazilian students to experience the “University Open to the World” in the heart of Europe.
