Located in the small city of Smithfield, Rhode Island, Bryant University offers a supportive, engaged learning style with a global reach. Just two hours from New York City, Bryant students have access to the best in university life and educational opportunities.
The Bryant MBA involves an experience-rich, international focus. Associate Dean of the College of Business, Dr. Anthony Wheeler, explained, “Full-time master’s students undertake international immersion experiences where they go deeper than the traditional site visit model. They deliver full research presentations to international audiences.” Past trips have included Panama, China, and Chile.
A cohort model ensures enriching connections with fellow students, faculty, and members of the Bryant community.
All business undergraduates are required to complete an Arts and Sciences minor, choosing diverse subjects from economics to psychology. Similarly, non-business undergraduates are required to minor in a business discipline. This facilitates depth of in-class discussion and skill development for future success. “This model is highly unique,” said Dr. Wheeler. “Developing critical thinking is a core value at Bryant.”
Bryant is known for practical, hands-on applications, offering targeted experience in each area of academic focus: accounting, computer information systems, finance, management, and marketing.
A robust Sophomore International Experience program takes international study to the next level through academic placements and community internships. Bryant hopes to soon add a Latin American partner to this program.
Over the past decade, Bryant University has invested considerable funds in bringing its campus to a state-of-the-art level, including new athletic and enhanced-learning facilities. August 2016 marks the grand opening of the Academic Innovation Center—a 50,000 square-foot building to foster creative learning environments for a new pedagogical era.
