Saint Joseph’s University’s Erivan K. Haub School of Business (HSB) is an internationally recognized AACSB-accredited business school with a broad spectrum of program offerings at the undergraduate, master’s, and executive education levels.
“We are proud to deliver a variety of exceptional degree programs—offered online and on campus—that meet the needs of students seeking to further their education,” stated Associate Dean and Professor Stephen J. Porth, Ph.D.
“The school’s success is a testament to the quality of our faculty, staff, and students.”
In 2016, U.S. News & World Report ranked three of HSB’s graduate business programs in the top 15 in the nation.
Located in bustling Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, HSB provides numerous opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience through internships and co-op programs. Business students can take advantage of two full-time, paid co-op placements, effectively graduating with a year of work experience and starting their career search ahead of the game.
Study abroad and global education are also encouraged. HSB has partnership agreements with universities in Chile and Mexico, and is currently establishing a joint program with a business school in Lima, Peru. The school hopes to expand its collaborative programs with Latin America and welcome more students from the region to all HSB programs.
International students have been impressed with the wealth of offerings at HSB. “We have programs that are specific to industries—business intelligence & analytics, finance, food marketing, pharmaceuticals, and healthcare, for example. We have specialized master’s programs, MBAs, and executive programs. We have varied options for students who are looking for a quality business education,” Dr. Porth commented.
As a small, private university located in a thriving metropolitan city, HSB offers the perfect combination of individualized attention and boundless opportunities. Student support is a top priority, while industry connections and a strong alumni network make the HSB experience a recipe for success.
