The Online MBA program offered by the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business provides students worldwide with the rigors of a premier MBA program combined with the flexibility of distance learning. The USC Marshall School of Business developed its Online MBA to take advantage of cutting-edge technological learning tools and give students a competitive advantage in the increasingly digital business landscape.
“Professors here are creating something that better simulates what’s happening in the real world,” said Associate Professor, Management Communication, Dr. Peter Cardon.
The Marshall Online MBA is well suited to ambitious students from Latin America who aspire to be entrepreneurs and business leaders and know that success demands an understanding of the inner workings of the global marketplace. From its location in Los Angeles, a prime gateway to Latin America and Asia, USC has a unique world view and an alumni community of more than 380,000 that spans 123 countries. This vast network offers Marshall graduates exceptionally strong support for success internationally.
“Today’s business definitely is global, and Marshall already is deeply engaged with the global business community,” said Assistant Dean, Online Learning, Philip Griego. “Our Online MBA expands this tradition by making the Marshall experience available to students around the world.”
Rather than just putting its traditional in-classroom content online, Marshall created a studio to produce high-quality and engaging educational content, developed by the program’s full-time faculty instructors and an award-winning online production team.
Each Marshall Online MBA class is integrated with content from across business disciplines. The curriculum uses contemporary, real-world scenarios to help students develop abilities that today’s employers expect of executive-level leaders, including decision-making through metrics, efficient communication, and effective virtual and remote collaboration. The program teaches students to become forward-thinking business leaders who can analyze a situation from diverse perspectives and create sound, practical solutions.
The Marshall Online MBA begins with a one-week, on-campus residency for all students. It combines asynchronous learning modules and live synchronous classes conducted via webcam, the former providing flexibility and the latter supporting close collaboration among students and close relationships among students and faculty members.
