FPP EDU Media was founded in Brazil with one main goal – to help students access more study abroad opportunities. The idea was to connect students with quality educational institutions around the world.
In 1997, FPP launched the very first study abroad online portal in Latin America.
In 2001, FPP started organising education fairs in Brazil, giving Brazilians the opportunity to talk directly with international school representatives.
In 2003, FPP expanded into Spanish-speaking Latin America, covering most of the region with their events.
The fairs are called EDUEXPOS and are held in over 40 cities, in 19 countries throughout Latin America, Europe, Asia, India, and the Middle East.
In 2012 FPP’s online portals evolved into EDUFINDME.com, a social network for education where students can search for educational opportunities that suit their needs as well as follow and contact institutions directly.
When students create an EDUFINDME profile they will receive invitations to online seminars called EDUWEBINARS conducted by universities, schools, colleges, agents, and government bodies. A 20 to 30 minute presentation is followed by questions from students. They can also attend EDUvirtualEXPOS, which are online fairs. These fairs allow students to chat with admissions officers, watch videos, download brochures, and find more study abroad opportunities.
EDUFINDME has connected hundreds of thousands of students with institutions across the world through EDUEXPOS, EDUWEBINARS, and EDUvirtualEXPOS. They also have a EDU Blog for Brazilian students updated twice a week with tips and articles to help Brazilians realise their dreams of studying abroad.
