The Hill School – Creating the Next Generation of Global Leaders
Founded in 1851, The Hill School is a highly selective preparatory boarding school in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, about 35 miles northwest of Philadelphia.
Unique English Boarding School Tradition and Close Learning Community
The Hill School is a close-knit learning community where students and faculty treat each other like family. The entire faculty and 80% of the student body live on campus, creating a vibrant community that allows students to achieve academic excellence. In fact, the entire school community gathers in the historic dining hall for a family-style seated lunch Monday through Friday and one dinner a week during the fall and spring semesters.
Extracurricular Opportunities Abound
Students are encouraged to stay active in the many extracurricular activities offered and must participate in two seasons of athletics or arts. Daily and weekend activities are planned by the Director of Student Activities and a student committee, giving students plenty of options to learn and have fun outside the classroom.
Rigorous and Varied Programs
The Hill School challenges students with an innovative liberal arts curriculum offering groundbreaking programs in STEM, Quadrivium, integrated math, and fast track programs for honor courses. Over 20% of the student body is international, representing 27 countries.
The Hill School offers an innovative yet structured experience and encourages strong Brazilian candidates to apply.
