Rollins College, Crummer

A Foundation for the Future

As a recognized leader in graduate business education with a reputation for producing highly‐successful managers and leaders, Rollins Crummer Graduate School of Business has distinguished itself in the field of advanced education.

With unique degree offerings and exceptional hands‐on experience, the school also stands as a trendsetter in graduate business education. Crummer’s Early Advantage MBA (EAMBA) forgoes the traditional work experience prerequisite and instead seeks to provide experiential learning opportunities at an accelerated pace over the course of the curriculum. The EAMBA program cultivates that experience through various consulting projects in which students work with a local or international company ‐ first studying an existing business challenge in the classroom, then going to work onsite to present a solution.

Crummer also offers a more traditional Professional MBA for students with a broad range of educational and professional experience, as well as an Executive MBA, an accelerated 16‐month degree program designed for mid‐ to senior‐level professionals with 10 or more years of managerial experience.

Yet another unique offering is Crummer’s Doctoral program, the first to be AACSB‐accredited in the state of Florida. Explained Professor of Operations Management, Dr. Henrique Correa, “We decided to launch the Executive Doctorate in Business Administration to help professionals become better executives ‐ to teach them the rigorous research philosophy and methodologies of a traditional PhD but with a very valuable twist for them; their thesis must be 100% applied and relevant to the real world of business.”

In order to cultivate a student‐centric learning environment that generates these unique learning opportunities, Crummer maintains small class sizes taught by professors, never a teaching assistant. This feature, alongside the school’s Central Florida location, appeals to a great number of Brazilian students who also enjoy proximity to the Orlando International Airport for the convenience of direct flights to São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The diverse region also has an extensive Brazilian community, while offering proximity to major international employers including Disney, Tupperware, Siemens, and Darden.

A small class environment, access to distinguished faculty, and hands‐on learning ensure Crummer graduates have the skills, resources, and connections to lead in the global economy. Moreover, Crummer graduates have access to free courses for life, a prestigious alumni network, and continued career development that keep them ahead of the competition.
