Exceptional Undergraduate Business Programs
Alongside highly-regarded graduate level business programs, several US schools also offer undergraduate degree programs that should not be overlooked.
Consistently recognized for “Best Undergraduate Teaching” by U.S. News and World Report, High Point University (HPU) is committed to expanding international knowledge of its undergraduate program. The school already has a growing population of Brazilians enrolled in its full-time undergraduate program and in its continued effort at broadening its global reach, HPU officials recently attended International student recruitment workshops provided by ICEF in São Paulo. HPU is invested in building relationships with Brazilian secondary school partners and dedicated to sharing its top-ranked undergraduate teaching.
Similarly, The College of New Jersey (TCNJ) is highlighted on Bloomberg BusinessWeek’s “Best Undergraduate Business Schools” list. With over 60 alumni at JP Morgan, Bloomberg Financial, and other top marketing management and research firms, student job placement success is evident. This success is not limited domestically as approximately one-third of TCNJ’s business school faculty members are from outside the US. The campus also offers an accredited ESL program that provides targeted interdisciplinary language instruction, ensuring international students can benefit from this top business school’s education and be set up for career achievement.
The Lubin School of Business at Pace University offers a transformational experience and provides one of the highest returns on college investment for undergraduate and graduate students. As confirmed by PayScale, Lubin’s undergraduate programs are in the top 11% for “Best Schools for Business Majors.”
La Salle University’s business honor society, Beta Gamma Sigma (BGS), has been named the 2014 Gold Chapter Award recipient in its Outstanding Chapter program—the highest recognition a collegiate chapter can earn. In ten of the past eleven years, La Salle’s chapter has been named one of the top five chapters in the world. Last year marks the third Gold Chapter Award for the University—having previously won in 2004 and 2011. Beta Gamma Sigma is the honor society serving business programs accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
Induction into BGS is one of the highest achievements available to business students in the world. Membership is only extended to the top 7% and 10% of junior and senior business majors respectively, and the top 20% of graduating MBA students from AACSB-accredited schools. Earlier this month, La Salle inducted 60 undergraduate and graduate students into its BGS chapter.
This award acknowledges the dedication and success of La Salle’s students not only academically, but outside the classroom as well. At La Salle, BGS students are heavily involved in serving the local community.
