Learn English as a second language (Beginner to Advanced): Non-native speakers of English can improve their skills through AUM’s ESL Community Program. For non-native English speakers who want to improve their academic, professional, and personal English language skills, AUM offers the Intensive English and Community English Program. The Center of English Language learning @ San Antonio College (CELL @ SAC) – San Antonio, Texas

CELL @ SAC provides intensive 8-week English as Second Language for Academics (ESLA) and advanced English for Academic Purposes (ENGA) courses.

Upon completion of ENGA, students qualify to enroll for college-level courses at any of the five Alamo Colleges in San Antonio.  An impressive 92 % of students who have finished ENGA and have registered for college-level freshman composition courses have received a passing grade.  Additionally, among the various fields to study, students often choose a specific science, pre-engineering, computer science or a business-related area such as finance, marketing, or accounting.

The Office of International Student Services provides assistance to students while they are taking classes at CELL @ SAC  or college-level courses at San Antonio College.
